OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Video Technician’s responsibilities include maintaining and implementing strategies, policies, and practices with regard to the organization’s video equipment requirements, QC, and asset management processes. 

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES​​

  • Coordinate with Warehouse Operations team for event-audio equipment needs.

  • Oversee general QC practices ensuring that all audio equipment packaged is show ready and of a quality standard.

  • Make recommendations for new case designs as assets change and recommend/implement a better deployment strategy via case design.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on audio equipment and systems.

  • Troubleshoot the audio systems and look for any potential problems.

  • Repair and maintain electronic equipment such as audio, and speaker systems

  • Assist with upgrades and new installations of complex audio and distribution systems.

  • Maintain system service information and personal daily work logs.

  • Pull audio equipment as per shows needs adequately and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Education​​

  • Bachelor or Associate's degree preferred.

Experience

  • Audio Visual equipment experience is a must. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the Audio-Visual industry.

  • Experience working with digital, analog, and audio processing systems.

  • Knowledgeable of technical troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Computer skills with highlighted proficiencies in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional, ethical standards and a diverse workplace.

  • Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment.

  • Excellent team player, open to direction, collaborative work style, and commitment to executing client’s vision with high-quality standards.

PREFERRED SKILLS​

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiar with A/V production software (Flex) is a plus

  • Innovative thinker/problem solving skillset to assist with show requests from Account Managers/Production Managers.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexibility with work hours (weekends and holidays if needed).
